Are you struggling to get ahold of your Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex tenants?

You call, then text, then email… but they don’t respond?

It can be really frustrating to deal with tenants that don’t communicate about important matters.

At Eight Point Properties, we’ve helped a lot of homeowners through this problem… counseling them on how to talk with their tenants and how to sell their home when tenants aren’t responding.

Here’s some of the advice we’d offer…

Try to Contact The Tenant — if you haven’t already, then try to contact your tenant and give them a reasonable amount of time to respond. Call them and text them and then give it a few weeks to see if they reply.

Send a Letter — If there’s no response to calls and texts, then send a letter to the tenant and save a copy of what you sent for the tenant’s file. If eviction becomes necessary, or it turns into a legal battle, you’ll want to document all communication as much as possible.

Consider Eviction — If after a few weeks the tenant doesn’t reply to the letter that was sent, it’s time to consider eviction. You can evict the tenant yourself, or hire a third-party company to do it. Although this is the least desirable option, sometimes it becomes necessary.

Sell Your Property For Cash — We buy houses in Fort Worth for cash, as-is. We can close in as little as two weeks and we can even handle eviction if necessary. This is a great option to just get rid of the stress of owning a difficult property. Give us a call at (817) 928-3979 to get a fair cash offer.
